Malta is heading into a new era, and it’s crucial that you take the lead. We’re aiming for a future where our communities are vibrant and genuine, not downtrodden and lifeless. A place where work pays and inspires our youth to make the country more beautiful.
Right now, things might seem bleak and discouraging. But even though I sometimes feel angry and frustrated, I haven’t lost hope—not even a little bit. Europe too can help in making Malta more beautiful. With my experience as the Secretary General of one of the four largest parties in the European Parliament for over six years, I know what we need to do to achieve this.

Dieter Vink died a year ago. Since then...omerta'A year ago I had written the following, in a post:Dieter Vink is dead. He had smashed into a skip on the St Paul's Bay bypass. The skip was illegally placed on the road for months.Transport Malta says...not my fault.Infrastructure Malta says ...not me.LESA did not do anything about the illegality. Police neither. Who pays for Dieter Vink's death? Then, I wrote again:Noel Vella is Infrastructure Malta’s Head of Implementation of Projects. Jonathan Vella is his brother.According to theshiftnews, JV Infrastructure Ltd, a company in which Noel Vella’s sister-in-law is listed as a shareholder, was given a €350,000 direct order by IM.According to The Times, the illegal skip that killed Dieter Vink belongs to JV Infrastructure. Why did the authorities not act to remove promptly the illegal killer skip?A year has since passed. A year of omerta'. With Dieter Vink's beloved left totally in the dark.Gafà or whoever in authority, what have you done about all this? ... See MoreSee Less

The application cites the demolition works on existing structures to make way for a pool and deckThe Times today runs an editorial on the illegalities of the Toyroom, former Medasia. Why are we not surprised that the owner, Darren Casha, continues to operate with impunity.Casha is, or was, the factotum of Konrad Mizzi.Sometimes Sliema front walking partner, sometimes Konrad's chauffeur friend, picking him up from the airport.Sometimes, as revealed by Rosianne Cutajar, they even went to the bathroom together. So why is the Times surprised that, when Casha was arraigned in court there were "procedural errors’ with regard to the affidavits taken – either by the police or Malta Tourism Authority"?This is now the norm.
